RICERCA

Profilo:

Since september 2018, I have been associate professor at the University of Pavia in the Hydraulic Infrastructures Sector. Since december 2016, I have been adjunct associate professor at the University of Adelaide. In december 2018, I took the Full Professor qualification in the Hydraulics/Hydraulic Infrastructures Sector.
The main topics of my research activity include:
1. Management of rainwaters in urban drainage systems;
2. Management and removal of sewer solids;
3. Simulation and management of water distribution networks;
4. Optimal design of water distribution networks;
5. Protection of water distribution networks from contamination events;
6. Modelling of shallow waters and sediment transport in rivers;
7. Application of statistical methodologies to problems of Hydrology and Hydraulic Infrastructures;
8. Analysis of demand in water distribution networks;
9. Optimization of irrigation networks;
10. Assessment of flood risk in urban areas.
